This is an example page. It’s different from a blog post because it will stay in one place and will show up in your site navigation (in most themes). Most people start with an About page that introduces them to potential site visitors. It might say something like this:
Hi there! I’m a bike messenger by day, aspiring actor by night, and this is my blog. I live in Los Angeles, have a great dog named Jack, and I like piña coladas. (And gettin’ caught in the rain.)
…or something like this:
The XYZ Doohickey Company was founded in 1971, and has been providing quality doohickeys to the public ever since. Located in Gotham City, XYZ employs over 2,000 people and does all kinds of awesome things for the Gotham community.

The reason I want to start this blog is to keep me forever grateful to all those who have made me the person I am and helped me to be where I am in life today. I feel the word ‘thanks’ is so commonly used (or misused) in today’s day and age that we have lost what the real meaning of ‘thanks’ is. I will start with writing about people and things I am grateful for and why. I hope after reading my expressions of gratitude my children and everyone else will write their true grateful feelings and not just think that their job is done by just saying, thanks.
The first person I am eternally grateful for is my mom. Mama as I call her not only gave birth to me but because of her very healthy lifestyle blessed me with good health. She then raised me to be a good student, athlete and a leader. She was a leader herself and I used to copy her (she was a principal) by instructing my fellow students what to do. After seeing her speak I started participating in debates and overcame the most common fear of public speaking. The confidence that she generated in me made me feel I can do anything and become anyone I want to be.
Today I head a company of 700 plus employees that I started and it is that quality of leadership her undying love combined with proper disciplining she instilled in me that has made that possible. A lot more to come……
